Write a paper that explores one and only oneof the case studies we have read and discussed this semester using one or two of the conceptual readings from the course textbook. Your thesis should take the form of “Such-and-such moral philosopher would say that the ethical problem presented in this case study calls for such-and-such course of action,” or “The ethical question presented by the case study may be answered in such-and-such a way.” Use supporting evidence to explain your thesis. Be as thorough as possiblewithin the scope of the paper, touching on keypoints through which the conceptual reading is relevant to the case study. In other words, demonstrate understanding ofethical reasoningby applying it to a particular case. Any case study from outside of course readings must be cleared with the professor.
