Women & Leisure

I’m trying to study for my Writing course and I need some help to understand this question.

  1. The film makes the point that women wanted a political voice to make a difference in society – was that achieved?
  2. Would politics look different if women weren’t a part of it?
  3. Sarah Palin, in her bid for the Vice Presidency, embraced motherhood in a way that no other female politician had done before. Did this make a long term difference on female politicians being able to be mothers and elected officials? Why do we never ask men if they are fathers?
  4. Why is a woman assuming the presidency still a big deal?
