Please note that there are no extensions for discussion board participation. To earn full credit, you must post by the deadlines. Please pay careful attention to the grading rubrics for the discussion forum.

Your personal experience is very important, and we would like you to share it with the class as much as possible. However, a high quality post is one that is explicitly linked to the course materials or other relevant outside sources using proper APA format.

Discussion postings should be approximately 150-300 words. Communicate in complete sentences, concise, focused paragraphs, and precise language. Excessively wordy postings are not an advantage, but overly brief postings have little to contribute to the discussion. Provide adequate support for your postings; simply agreeing or disagreeing with your colleague is not appropriate. Be detailed and support your response with evidence.

Discussion Questions

During the last half century, both practitioners and scholars have shown great interest in project success. What factors do you think influence project success or failure? Can you give an example of a completed project from your organization, the news, or the internet? What factors do you think may have contributed to its success or failure?

Reminder: A high quality post is one that explicitly links your personal opinion or experience with the course materials or other relevant outside sources using proper APA format. Both in-text citations and a reference list are required for this discussion. You may earn up to 10 points for this discussion; and you may find the following resources helpful:
