Training is most valuable when it is targeted to the mutual needs of the employee and the employer objectives. The technique used can really enhance the overall learning and develop the bench of the organization that will drive their efficiency, quality, etc. and may even have the side benefit of retention. (ahhhh, the ‘r’ word – music to HR’s ears. )
