I’m stuck on a Management question and need an explanation.

Training is most valuable when it is targeted to the mutual needs of the employee and the employer objectives. The technique used can really enhance the overall learning and develop the bench of the organization that will drive their efficiency, quality, etc. and may even have the side benefit of retention. (ahhhh, the ‘r’ word – music to HR’s ears. )

Compare and contrast 2 on-the-job training techniques. (Middleton & Cherrington, 2020), In which type of situations would you leverage each of these techniques? Are there certain levels of employees you would apply any or both of these techniques with over other levels? Explain
