To interview people from two different countries and record

Please write a five-page interview, which needs to interview people from two different countries and record their different cultures, so that they can compare their cultures and make a summary. It doesn’t need to be written as a dialogue. For example: You have two classmates or friends from different countries, one is from the United States, and the other is from China. Please interview their different cultures on topics such as life, diet, school, family and so on, and write the interview content. Think about the interview questions on your own.

I’ll tell you what I do, given I’m a multi-media journalist and need either Audio or Video.

I set up a Call Recorder and run a Skype interview. My call recorder (by Ecamm – it’s not free) records both sides’ video and audio on different tracks in one file. It’s excellent for such interviews.

I did use Google Hangouts earlier but it needs you to first run the ‘Hangout on Air’ to public before being able to get it via your YouTube channel. It’s not all that big an issue, but it’s not idea either. Besides, it doesn’t give you both sides’ entire videos so it gives the editor less leeway to work with.

For video, these are the best ways. There’s also the option to hire a camera person from the interviewee’s area and doing the interview via Skype or phone call (handsfree devices to talk to one another) while filming both sides of the conversation separately. The cameraperson in the remote location just sends over the video file once the shoot is done. The editor then has both video files and can edit it all together.
