a. In the data table below, Joe Smith’s water usage for five days has been recorded in gallons. The water usage is categorized by the type of water use ranging from “take a shower” to “washing clothes”. Values are in gallons of water used. Calculate Joe Smith’s Total Water Usage first adding up usage data down by category into the daily subtotal cell relative to each column and across, by row, into the subtotal by activity. Total subtotals across and subtotal down into the bottom right cell. As a check the sum of the Daily subtotals and the Activity Subtotals should equal each other. (2)
