I’m trying to study for my Nursing course and I need some help to understand this question.
Assume you are a nurse leader who works for a home hospice care organization. You are tasked with distributing money via donations from organizations, who wish for the money to be used as needed and leave the decision to you and your staff. However, it is not to be used for staff compensation. You ask your staff to attend a meeting to discuss how to best allocate the money based on current needs. There are various ideas among the group, including those who want to purchase new office furniture, those who want to update computer equipment, and other staff members who feel that it is unfair that they will not seek additional employee compensation. The staff members begin to argue about how the funds should be distributed throughout the facility. They begin to shout, and one staff member leaves the meeting after slamming the door.
