Lab 1
For the first lab my group had the hypothesis that the cart would slow down at a constant rate as it moved up the inclined plane, because the deceleration due to gravity was constant. We used PASCO to record the speed and time when the cart past certain points on the inclined plane and the data recorded showed that the cart slowed down as it moved up the inclined plane, all the graphs produced from the experiment showed that the velocity had a linear relationship with time, and that the hypothesis was correct.
Lab 2
For the second lab the hypothesis was that as the springs extension decreased so would the acceleration , the data recorded and graphs produced showed that the acceleration decreased as the springs extension decreased, we used the equations (K)x=m(a) to better understand the relationship between the cart and spring.
