In this assignment, choose one candidate and analyze one component of their political platform (i.e. immigration, healthcare, gun control, taxes, etc.). Choose an issue that is complex enough to answer the questions below.

Research and explain the candidates’ stance on one issue. Be thorough. This should be the bulk of your paper.
Firstly, describe the issue and what steps the candidate intends to take to put a plan into action, including funding plans
Secondly, include relevant historical information and/or national conversations that are taking place about the issue
Thirdly, describe the arguments against this plan. Additionally, include individuals and/or groups who have argued against the candidate’s plan.
Conclude with a summary of the issue and the candidate’s plan of approaching the issue. Include the viability of their plan being effective considering the arguments against it.
